The
department operates two fully equipped
Advance Life Support Ambulances.
The department has on staff 15 state
licensed Paramedics and 21 Emergency
Medical Technicians responding on 700 +
emergency medical requests a year.
The average response time to most
emergency medical calls within the fire
district is 4-6 minutes.
Some situations could increase that
response time, for example:
A
delay in calling 911 as soon as an
emergency occurs.
No
or a poorly marked address
Our ambulance is at another
emergency in which case our engine
which is staffed with a
Paramedic and an Emergency Medical
Technician will arrive in 3-4
minutes while a mutual aid
ambulance from a neighboring fire
department is responding to your
location.
